This is an adorable ceramic figurine showing Santa sleeping by the fireplace with his boots off and a sleeping dog resting across his left leg. The pastel colors and glazing are in a style similar to that popularized by Lladro, but this piece bears no markings to indicate its manufacturer and is likely to be a more modern piece manufactured in quantity.

It is a sizable piece, measuring almost 11" wide, 6.5" deep and 7" tall. It weighs just under 5lbs.

There are a few flaws that appear to be from the manufacturing process, rather than damage caused by mishandling. There are 2 nicks along the bottom edge of the base, a couple of cracks on the underside of the base and a very tiny crack at the point where Santa's head meets the fireplace. None of the flaws are easily noticed and this would make a charming piece in any Christmas display.
