This porcelain plate was the first in an annual series of Mother's Day plates from Knowles China, certified by the Rockwell Society of America. It depicts a mother tucking her young children into bed.
The artwork on this plate is that of Norman Rockwell and first appeared on the cover of The Literary Digest for Jan 29, 1921.
The plate was produced as a limited edition, which closed on May 7, 1976. Each plate is uniquely numbered and measures 8.5" in diameter. It does not include any original packaging.
