Friends of the Feather
Friends of the Feather is a collection of figurines and other collectibles inspired by the spirituality and culture of Native American history. The collection was created for Enesco by Karen Hahn. It was introduced in 1994 and continued for a decade, until it the collection was finally retired in 2004.

There are approximately 500 items in the collection in total. Most of these are figurines, but the collection also includes covered boxes, hanging ornaments, night lights, kitchenware, etc. The figurines are made from cold cast resin and hand-painted. Most are additionally decorated with leather and/or feather detailing.

The collection was manufactured for Enesco in China.

Karen Hahn's designs manage to create a child-like simplicity in the faces of the figurines, which contrasts with the attention to detail in the costumes, accessories and activities. It is a combination that respectfully romanticizes the traditions of a proud people.
