This M.I.Hummel figurine depicts a young girl sheltering under a large umbrella. It was modeled in 1949 by Arthur Moeller and has been issued in 3 sizes over the years. Old catalogs show this figurine also called "In Safety". This one measures 4.75" tall, the middle of the 3 available sizes, which was first produced in 1954, although this one has an incised date of 1957. This figurine bears the TMK4 (Three-line Bee) trademark. It shows some evidence of light crazing on the underside.
