This M.I.Hummel figurine depicts a young boy sheltering under a large umbrella. It was modeled in 1942 by Arthur Moeller and has been issued in 3 sizes over the years. Old catalogs show this figurine also called "In Safety".

This one measures 4.75" tall, the middle of the 3 available sizes, which was first produced in 1954, although this one has an incised date of 1957.

This figurine bears the TMK6 Goebel trademark and has also been signed by Master Sculptor Gerhard Skrobek.
