This is Triple Oast from the David Winter Regions collection. David sculpted single, double and triple oasts. An oasthouse is essentially a farm building, typical in southern parts of England, used for drying hops. The distinctive conical-roofed buildings are raised drying floors over kilns.
This model was first sculpted in 1981, restyled in 1985 and retired from production in 1994. The wind vanes are made of plastic, after the original crystacal design proved to break too easily.
At 5.25" tall and 7.25" wide, this cottage comes in the original box with the certificate of authenticity.
