This is a limited edition figurine set from M.I.Hummel. It comprises a tiered wooden display with engraved brass plaque, a full-lead crystal globe and 5 individual figurines representing 5 continents.

Measuring 8.5" high, 10.75" wide and 9.5" deep, this set also comes with a porcelain certificate of authenticity. This set is uniquely numbered as 0260 in a limited edition of 2000 sets created exclusively for North America in the year 2000.

Each of the five figurines were modeled by Helmut Fischer and Tamara Fuchs in 1998. They bear the Goebel TMK8 and "First Edition" backstamps. Two of the five have been signed by Frank Knoch & Tanja Krejci, along with the certificate of authenticity. Frank and Tanja are both Goebel painters.
