This Hummel figurine features a young child reciting poetry. It was modeled in 1973 by Gerhard Skrobek and introduced into the U.S. in 1994.

This particular figurine bears the TMK7 trademark as well as the "First Issue" decal. In addition it has been signed by both the Master Sculptor Gerhard Skrobek and Master Painter Christina Goihl. The date of Goihl's signature is the date she was visiting the Hummel Gift Shop in New Springfield, OH. Skrobek's signature appears to be dated earlier.

This 6.25" figurine was withdrawn from production in the summer of 2002.
