This Precious Moments figurine depicts a sad, yet humorous, scene. A young girl weeps at the loss of her pet bird while a smiling pussy cat in a bib seems awfully pleased with the empty cage and scattered feathers.

This figurine was first issued in 1987 and was retired in 1995. This particular one bears the first year production mark of the Cedar Tree and it comes in the original box.
