This Boyd's Bearstone Collection figurine is a numbered limited edition piece that was produced only in 1998. It was produced to commemorate the 5th anniversary of Boyds Bears and depicts the Boyds team, under the direction of THB (the Head Bean), working hard to design, manufacture and distribute bears to the dedicated collectors around the world.

This figurine features 2 quotations. The first is George Bernard Shaw's "People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can't find them, make them". The second quote is "The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do" by Walter Bagehot.
