This M.I.Hummel figurine is a Reinhold Unger sculpted model from 1947. It was previously known as "Playing To The Dance". It depicts a boy playing a cello or double bass and is one of several pieces making up the Hummel orchestra.
This figurine bears the TMK5 backstamp (the Goebel bee) and is approximately 5" tall. In this size (186), the model was retired in the summer of 2006.
There is some light crazing on the underside of this figurine, too fine to be seen in the picture.
