This M.I. Hummel figurine depicts a young baby in a cradle. The cradle is beside a fence where a large sunflower smiles down on the baby and a bluebird sings.

This 4.25" tall figurine was modeled by Arthur Moeller in 1955 but not released until 2002.

This particular piece bears the "First Issue 2003" backstamp and the Goebel TMK8 trademark. It has also been signed by Master Painter Horst W. Hoefler. We can tell from the date of the signature that this figurine was signed at an event in New Springfield, OH on Nov 9, 2003.
