This David Winter cottage is an impressive sculpture from the West Country collection. It blends a series of buildings into the natural landscape of the Cornish coastline. There are cliffs, isolated coves, pathways and caves all around the coast of Cornwall, making it an ideal location for its long history of smuggling.
This sculpture artfully captures the essence of the Cornish smuggling trade, which was recognized when it won the Collectible of the Show award at the 1988 Southern California Plate & Collectible Show.
Measuring 9" tall, this sculpture was first introduced in 1987 and retired in 1995. It comes in the original box with certificate of authenticity.
