The Oxfordshire Goat Yard is part of the David Winter Shires collection. This is a series of 12 pieces that capture life in the English ‘shires’ (early rural counties). Each piece in the series includes Andrew Stadden’s metal figurines, which enhance the character of each cottage.
This particular cottage shows a lady and her daughter appalled to find one of their goats trying to eat the laundry they have hung out to dry. It was issued in 1992 and retired in 1994.
This cottage measures 2.75” tall by 3” wide and comes in the original box with certificate of authenticity.
