This is one of those David Winter cottages based on a real existing structure. In this case, it is based on the Irish residence of David himself, which he restored and remodeled. David used a little artistic license to add a chimney to the miniature that does not exist on the real building, but it is otherwise a good representation of his home.

This is a limited edition cottage. Each one is uniquely numbered on the cottage and corresponding certificate of authenticity. This one happens to be number 2,294 of 4,500. It is also signed on the base by David himself.

First issued in 1995, this 4.5" tall cottage comes in the original box and includes a sealed VHS video tape tour of Newtown Millhouse and a booklet describing his Irish home.

There is unfortunately a very small chip to the edge of one of the roof tiles, which can be seen from the rear view.
