This figurine from M.I. Hummel depicts a young boy sitting on a stool with a large pair of scissors.

This figurine was first modeled in 1955 by Horst Ashermann and then restyled by Gerhard Skrobek in 1972.

This particular figurine is one of the earliest of the restyled version, bearing the TMK5 (Goebel Bee) trademark of the mid-1970s. It shows some signs of light crazing on the base.
