This Hummel figurine depicts 2 young girls heading off to Grandma's with arms full of gifts, including a bottle in a basket, a cone of candy and a bowl of soup.
This figurine was first modeled in 1936 by Reinhold Unger and was originally named "Little Mothers of the Family". It was produced in 3 sizes, of which this is an example of the smallest, at 4.5" tall, and it was finally retired in 2004.
This particular piece is stamped with the TMK3 Goebel mark (the stylized bee), indicating production in the late 1950s or early 1960s.
