This Goebel figurine is one of a series of figurines depicting doctors, designed in 1971 by Gerhard Bochmann. This one shows the doctor preparing a syringe to give someone a shot. This 8.25” tall figurine is from the first year of manufacture as it bears the Goebel TMK4 (three-line bee) trademark, which was replaced in 1972 with the TMK5 trademark.
