This Goebel dog figurine is a dog native to the Copenhagen region of Denmark. We know this because the CH in the model number means “Copenhagener Hund”. It appears to be a Pharaoh Hound or maybe a member of the Pinscher family.
This figurine is an early model. The incised Goebel trademark dates it between 1923 and 1949.
Although in great overall condition, there are a few fleabites and minor under-glaze marks, which can be clearly seen from the pictures. For its age, it is still a remarkable example.
