This Goebel figurine is first in a series of four produced for the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of the club. The series, known as the GFWC Centennial Figurines, was intended to represent classic women’s attire throughout the lifetime of the club.
This figurine depicts the fashion of the 1890s. The lovely redhead is dressed in a gray dress, trimmed in white ruffles. She is wearing a gray cloth choker and is holding a bouquet of pink and yellow flowers.
Released in 1984, this figurine stands at 8.25” tall and bears the Goebel TMK6 trademark.
