This M.I. Hummel figurine was issued as part of a joint fund raising effort for UNICEF, with $25 from the original purchase price going to the US Committee for UNICEF. It was the 3rd of 3 pieces issued in the UNICEF series, the other 2 being Friends Together (662) and We Come In Peace (754).

Modeled by Helmut Fischer in 1992, this figurine was issued in a limited edition of 25,000 pieces. This particular one is uniquely numbered 628 of 25,000 and comes with its corresponding certificate of authenticity.

This 5.75" tall figurine bears the Goebel TMK7 backstamp, as well as a commemorative UNICEF stamp. This particular figurine has also been signed by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek.
