This Goebel figurine is from Lore’s Blumenkinder collection. It depicts a young boy and girl collecting flowers together in a basket. It measures 5.75” tall.

This figurine was designed by Gerhard Bochmann in 1964, although it has an incised date of 1966. It is part of the first edition of 12 Blumenkinder figurines, which were produced in limited quantities of 2,000 each. It also bears the Goebel TMK4 (three-line bee) back stamp.

This piece unfortunately has a minor flaw. A leaf that hung over the front of the basket has been chipped off, as can be seen in the pictures. It is otherwise in perfect condition.
