This metallic sculpture is part of the Franklin Mint Curio Cabinet Cats Collection. Each of the cats in the collection represents a different style of art. Bootscrapers were commonly seen on the doorsteps of houses from the 17th century onwards to allow dirt to be scraped from footwear before entering the house. They can still be seen today in rural residences. The figurine honors the tradition of the bootscraper. It is 4.25" long.
