This M.I. Hummel figurine depicts a young boy holding a cake and a small black dog begging for a piece. It measures 5.5" tall. This item was first modeled in 1935 by Arthur Moeller as a candle holder. A hole in the middle of the cake held the candle. It was restyled in 1964 as a figurine, without the hole in the cake. This particular figurine bears the TMK6 Goebel trademark and is signed on the base by master sculptor, Gerhard Skrobek.
