This Hummel figurine was modeled (as model 197) in 1948 by Reinhold Unger. The 197 2/0 version is slightly smaller than the original, standing at 4.25" tall, and was first issued in the mid-1950's.

This piece, sometimes referred to by its original name "The Mother of Ducks", bears the TMK-3 mark (the stylized bee).

Unfortunately there is evidence of minor crazing over this piece and a small nick of paint missing from the back of her dress. These imperfections are only visible on close inspection.
